Egg retrieval
Mature eggs are carefully retrieved from the ovaries using ultrasound guidance, after ovarian stimulation to produce multiple eggs. In Colombia, this is done at the clinic under light sedation.

Through IVF, eggs and sperm are combined in a laboratory to create embryos. These are carefully monitored as they develop over the first few days.

🕐 PGT results typically take 25 business days to be returned from the genetics laboratory. Your coordinator will notify you as soon as your results are available.
CGT / carrier screening
Step 1 of 5
DNA sample collection
A cheek swab or blood sample is taken from each intended parent. This DNA sample is sent to a certified genetics laboratory to begin carrier screening.
